Learn the basics of variety arts through puppetry, magic, balloon animal sculpting, face painting, object balancing, juggling, skit comedy and more! Share your talents with a camp-ending performance for friends and family! At the end of camp, some props can be kept by campers.

Mystery Academy: Magical Fun
Want to do magic like Harry Potter, Gandalf or Merlin? Learn real magic to fool the uninitiated! Magical Fun is for youngsters who are just starting to become wizards. Learn magic tricks as well as puppetry and create magic-themed craft projects. Gain art appreciation, confidence while overcoming stage fright and build kinesthetic
skills with magic props. At the end of camp, some props can be kept by campers. Staff to participant ratio: 1:10

Learn a variety of forms of magic including sleight of hand, mentalism, apparatus, coin, card, wand and handkerchief magic, as well as what it means to be a magician. This program focuses primarily on the Performance of the Art of Magic. Students will train in a variety of forms of magic, sleight of hand, mentalism, apparatus, coin, card, wand and handkerchief magic, learning the basics of what it means to be a magician. A variety of magical games, craft projects and activities accompany serious magic instruction. A performance follows at the end of the week, where students perform in a close-up setting for parents and friends. Campers must provide their own snacks and drinks. Note: This is a peanut-free facility.
